Fiction in Frames
Conceptual Poster Design | Visual Storytelling
Fiction in Frames is a personal poster series created in collaboration with photographer Jazmin Gallardo. Using her photography as a foundation, I designed fictional movie posters inspired by thriller, drama, and crime genres. Each piece demonstrates my ability to build narrative worlds through design—where typography, layout, and imagery work together to tell a story.
Concept Development
The concept began with a simple challenge: how can photography be transformed into cinematic storytelling? Working with Jazmin Gallardo’s original urban photography, I developed a design process that paired each image with a fictional film narrative. From there, I explored how genre conventions, thriller, drama, crime, and neo-noir could be expressed through color, typography, and composition.
